TY - JOUR AU - Bartoncello, Hugo Ricardo PY - 2022/06/17 Y2 - 2024/03/29 TI - Influence of training on professional performance in nursing professionals of a private institution in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires JF - Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología JA - Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología VL - 2 IS - SE - Original DO - 10.56294/saludcyt202221 UR - https://revista.saludcyt.ar/ojs/index.php/sct/article/view/21 SP - 21 AB - <p>Introduction: The improvement of professionals is a gradual process that occurs throughout life and through it significant learning is developed that influences professional, labor and social activity; all of which requires the harmonic linking of preparation and improvement with work.</p><p>Objective: To analyze the influence of training on the professional performance of nursing professionals in a private institution in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.</p><p>Methods: A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study was carried out between February and March, with a sample of 25 nursing professionals. Three evaluation instruments were used.</p><p>Results: 56% of the sample was female, the average age was 43.8±11.7, 68% of the sample had a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and the average years of training were 10.9±8.0. The results found show that there are high overall training needs. No significant differences were found when comparing job performance dimensions in those who had received training or were currently undergoing training and those who had not or were not.</p><p>Conclusions: There are high general and specific training needs, with low organizational management towards training motivation and stimulation. On the other hand, no relationship was found between training and professional performance; however, this study leaves open the possibility of developing other types of qualitative studies that analyze this problem in depth.</p> ER -
