Pedagogical model for the methodological work of the General Integral Medicine specialization

Abstract

Introduction: for the development of a teaching-educational process with quality at the postgraduate level, it is necessary to improve the methodological work.
Aim: to design a pedagogical model for the work of the specialization in General Integral Medicine at the University of Medical Sciences of Pinar del Río.
Methods: descriptive and transversal research during the course 2020-2021; the universe was constituted by professors and tutors of the specialty of General Integral Medicine of the University Polyclinic "Dr. Modesto Gómez Rubio" of San Juan y Martínez, Pinar del Río. Theoretical and empirical methods were used.
Results: design of a pedagogical model for the methodological work of the specialization in General Integral Medicine.
Conclusions: the pedagogical model designed contributes to the improvement of the levels, activities and organizational forms and of the didactic, pedagogical and methodological preparation of teachers and tutors.
