Abstract

A great news fills with joy the whole community of the Journal Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología: the review process concludes with an affirmative answer and its inclusion in the Scopus database. We are pleased with the Journal's entry into Scopus as it is the largest database of high quality journals and literature abstracts, refereed on the Internet. Since its creation, the editorial team has discussed and adapted the journal to the highest international standards of quality and editorial transparency, through a process of continuous improvement, by means of a dynamic, constant and systematic search in order to identify opportunities for adjustments, corrections and improvement of the standards. This process, costly in time and resources, made it possible to achieve a project with sustainability and quality standards at the level of the best bibliographic databases. Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología moves and aspires to move towards the highest quality standards that result in the availability and visibility of the research results of those who are the main actors, the authors. We congratulate all those who make this project possible on a daily basis: editors, proofreaders, translators, reviewers, authors and readers. In one way or another, we are all facing a new stage of work that is much more committed and demanding.
