Ethical aspects

Ethics of scientific publication:
The research should be in accordance with the regulations related to the ethics of the instigation of each country and/or region, for which the authors should request the pertinent authorizations.
In the case that images of patients are used, it should be guaranteed that their identity and privacy are protected.
In this regard, the journal follows the Recommendations for the preparation, reporting, editing, and publication of academic papers in biomedical journals prepared by the International Committee of Editors of Biomedical Journals (ICMJE), which can be consulted at the following link: https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/translations/spanish2021.pdf.

Research on experimental animals and/or humans:
In the event that the research submitted to the journal involves the participation of experimental animals or humans, authors should ensure that they are aligned with the Code of Ethics proposed in the Declaration of Helsinki (http://doi.org/10.1001/jama.2013.281053) or its Spanish version (https://www.wma.net/es/policies-post/declaracion-de-helsinki-de-la-amm-principios-eticos-para-las-investigaciones-medicas-en-seres-humanos/).
Authors should request informed consent from all study participants and state it explicitly in the manuscript.
In this regard, the journal follows the Recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing, and publication of academic papers in biomedical journals prepared by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), which can be consulted at the following link: https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/translations/spanish2021.pdf.
In the case of randomized clinical trials, the authors must have the endorsement of the Clinical Research Ethics Committee (or similar according to the regulations of the country of origin), declare the financing for its execution and be registered in and endorsed by a public registry of clinical trials.

Conflict of interest
All authors must report any personal or financial relationship with persons or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work.
In this regard, the journal follows the Recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing, and publication of scholarly work in biomedical journals developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) which can be found in section II-B-2 at the following link: https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/translations/spanish2021.pdf.
If there is no conflict of interest, authors should declare in the corresponding section: "Conflicts of interest: none".
If there is a conflict of interest, the authors of the article must declare it in the corresponding section (Conflicts of interest), and attach the Conflict of interest declaration according to the model proposed by the ICMJE (https://www.icmje.org/downloads/coi_disclosure.docx). The information in the declaration must match that of the submitted manuscript.

Funding
Authors should declare the details of the institution(s) that provided financial support for the conduct of the research and/or the preparation of the article, as well as briefly describe the role played by the sponsors in the design of the study, the collection, analysis and interpretation of the data, the writing of the article or the decision to submit the article for publication. If there was no involvement of any kind, please indicate this as well.
